Stats: Day One

Wanted to try something a little different for this update. So much has been riding on this moment and all our friends and family have been such a huge part of our success, so I wanted to honor you guys for this mega news.

I hope you enjoy the video and if you missed a FaceTime from me today, this is why! Let me know what you think!! I know I cry every single time I watch it!

I am doing well. We are still on OHSS watch and I am still pretty sore from surgery. I started the progesterone inserts today and I can barely keep my eyes open, I am so tired. If i am not resting today, I am trying to drink my weight in electrolyte filled drinks. Pretty much the only thing I can do to prevent developing OHSS is to stay hydrated, eat and drink things with lots of salt and rest as much as I can. So, that’s exactly what I am doing.

I will update you again on Thursday with our day three report. At that time, all of our remaining embryos will be graded. We should expect to lose some from day one to day three, that’s completely normal. I can’t wait to see how they do and it is so surreal to know that right now, Tim and I have parented kids!! Right now, the transfer is scheduled for Saturday morning as long as OHSS stays at bay!

Til Thursday,

❤ Katie
